ZHAW at Embedded World 2020

From 25 to 26 February 2020, ZHAW - Zürich University of Applied Sciences, one of the leading universities

of applied sciences in Switzerland participated at Embedded World Exhibition & Conference in Nuremberg, Germany. Embedded World is one of the world most significant conference and fair on Embedded Systems, a meeting place of embedded technology where enterprises are offering components, modules and complete systems, hardware and software, and services. More than 900 exhibitors from 42 countries presented the entire value chain for embedded system technologies. Under the title „Connecting Embedded Intelligence“, the main focus was also at security for electronic systems, distributed intelligence, the Internet of Things, e-mobility and energy efficiency.

ZHAW, a member of AMANDA Consortium had a presentation on the second day of Embedded World Conference under the title „Powering Sigfox Nodes with Harvested Energy“. The presentation was also associated with the Amanda Project, so ZHAW had an opportunity to present objectives, main achievements and next steps in developing AMANDA ASSC.

With reference to the spread of coronavirus, this year a long list of companies cancelled their exhibition and visit.
